The main gallery space was used to store the station’s salt for many years. It has always been known as “The old ladies’ waiting room”. A second room on the platform side of the building is of particular interest, with its cast iron pillars, stone walls and an original railway bench. Large windows make this a bright airy space.
The main door to the gallery can be accessed from Station Brae down a few steps. Disabled access is available via the platform door.
The gallery will be open every Saturday from 10am – 4pm. Visitors are always welcome and to arrange a visit, outwith normal hours, please contact the Gallery.
Art classes are held in the gallery on Thursday and Friday.
